HipRageous BellyDance Troupe is a Middle Eastern Fusion belly dance troupe. Our mission is to spread the beauty of Middle Eastern Dance. We seek to edify and empower our members through dance, and to radiate that power and edification to our audience. We firmly believe that dance can cross cultural, racial, age, economic, and skill lines; that the movement of the human body is a universal language without bounds or limitations. HipRageous, with dignity and poise and careful consideration, seeks to explore that language and offer it to eager audiences (of one or of a thousand). We believe that no woman, no matter her physical; cultural; or mental state, should be held away from this majestic language. We believe dance is joy, and intend to spread that joy with a blind hand and an open heart.
